The Launch Control XL MK2 is a USB MIDI controller featuring 24 rotary knobs with multicolor LEDs, 8 faders, and 16 assignable buttons.
It is designed for hands-on control of mixing, effects, and device parameters in Ableton Live, but it can be mapped to any MIDI-compatible software or hardware.
It supports custom MIDI mappings and is compatible with creative coding environments such as Max/MSP, Pure Data, and Processing. Students can repurpose it for interactive installations or use it with platforms like Teensy, Bela, or ESP32 (with USB Host support).
